About Fatima Serhir

Fatima was born in South-West of France, in the middle of vineyards and walnut trees fields

Her parents came from a tribe in North-East of Morocco and taught her some of the health secrets learnt from their ancestors, through herbs, spices, and touch.

Amongst those secrets, her mother also taught her a few head massage moves to relieve headache and a few back and belly massages techniques to soothe stomach ache caused by anxiety.

From a young age, Fatima’s hands felt the powerful healing power of touch.

Whilst working in digital marketing in London, Fatima explored yoga as a tool to give her body the movement it needed and her mind the rest it desired. As one of her yoga teachers says, ‘’move your body to quiet the mind’’ is also one of the motto she preaches.

She took her 200 hours Kundalini Yoga training certification from the Karam Kriya school in 2019 with an emphasis on meditation.

In 2023, after a retreat in Purple Valley in Goa and years of a daily MySore practice, she took the 40hours Ashtanga Trainging in Paris with David Swenson.

Simultaneously, her interest in massage also brought her to different massage trainings.

In 2021, she completed a Holistic Massage Training ar City lit in London.

In 2022-2023, she further her skills with Deep Tissue Massage Training, Table Thai Massage and Reflexology at the London School of Massage.

After a very painful sciatica episode that impacted her physically and mentally, Fatima deepened her knowledge and expertise in both yoga and massages.

A she experienced deeper the connection between body and mind in her own flesh, she wanted to learn more about the science behind it and learn more techniques to

In 2024, she expanded her yoga knowledge by taking a Yin Yoga course as a technique to further activate the parasympathetic nervous system.

In 2025, she took a training in Yoga Fusion, which is a combination of yoga moves and traditionnal floor thai massage.

Fatima has been working as a massage therapist since 2023 at the Wellington Centre in Hastings and in various locations in London.

Fatima believes that being healthy and achieving wellbeing has to be real-istic. In a world of hyperinformation and hyperInstagramisation, she also thinks that wellbeing healthy habits can (and have to be!) simple.

Far from believing into the magic fix (spoiler: THERE IS NONE!), her perspective is about being accountable to ourselves to build a life around the 5 pillars of health, which are diet, sleep, exercise, water intake and deep connections. And yes, sometimes, a bit of outside support is necessary to keep us on track.

She sees physical and mental health as a toolbox filled with tools for us to be as healthy, as happy and as holly as we can.

As we nagivate life -the inner and the outer- we can design our own toolbox.

At her very modest level, she wants to contribute into making it more accessible to a higher number of people, especially those who suffer the most from the hypercapitalistic white supremacist patriarchy we ‘’live’’ in or survive in to be more accurate.

Let's work together on the path of restoring balance and harmony to body and mind!
